Background

Founded in the early 1800 by 15 immigrants, who started out as farmers, miners and leather workers, The Barren Few have passed their rules and regulations down for generations. Entrusted in keeping the name a secret. The Barren Few have remained anonymous for 99 years and have amassed wealth, political favours and knowledge that brings them and their allies prosperity. Known by many different names, or gangs over the years the group seems to be reluctant to take the center stage but instead influence from afar. The groups have had their conflicts over the years and do not shy away from a good fight. This was evident when one of their member's eyes was taken, the massacre of Viva Hellsink - Where 20 of The Barren Few crossed the waters and returned the favour in which 12 Men in an opposing gang were shot dead, and 2 wounded on The Barren Few side after reparations were not paid. To this day it remains one of the only semi-public acts of this group. As a local news article was published in 1884.

An independent investigator, known only as *Gill Albuno* has heard this group often meets in the shadows, or some type of midnight society location and have strong family ties to one another. But before his story came to light he was found naked and dead hanging from the Saint-Denis Church. It is rumoured that The Barren Few caught wind of his investigation and allegations and decided to confront Mr Albuno. It is said that a lone telegram was left at Mr Albuno's apartment for him in which it only specified date, time and dress code.
