Stables

Stables are available throughout The State of Monroe. Stables allow you to do a variety of things in relation to your horse.

When you enter a stable you’ll visit the stable master and press G to open up the stable menu.

Purchasing A Horse

While on the main stable menu click on the “Purchase A New Horse” menu, This will take you to the horse market.

The horse market window allows you to view from a list of all the different breeds of horse available in The State of Monroe.

After selecting your desired breed you can also select a preferred variant of this breed. Different variants have different attributes.

You can also select the desired gender of the horse you’re purchasing. This may prove particularly important if you wish to breed your horse.

Once you’ve chosen the breed, variant and gender of the horse you’re looking to purchase, you can press “Purchase” in the market window.

This will bring up a new window giving you the option to name your horse and finally confirm your purchase.

Horse Attributes

Each horse breed and variant has different attributes that should be considered when purchasing a new horse for a particular task.

• Health - This attribute determines how much damage your horse can take before it is injured or dies.
• Stamina - This attribute determines the total sprint duration of your horse.
• Acceleration - This attribute determines how fast your horse reaches its top running speed.
• Speed - This attribute determines the overall top speed of your horse.

Customizing A Horse

You can customize features of your horse's mane and tail through the customization menu. From the main stable menu, select the horse you wish to customize. This will take you to the manage horse menu. From there click on “Customize”

Once you've selected your desired customization options for mane and tail and click the “Purchase” button at the bottom of the customization window and “Confirm” to select the chosen options.

Horse Tack

You can add and customize equipment for your horse through the tack menu. From the main stable menu, select the horse you wish to customize. This will take you to the manage horse menu. From there click on “Tack”

Select your desired equipment options using the sliders and click the “Finish” button at the bottom of the customization window and then “Confirm” to select the chosen options.

Retrieving Your Horse

To retrieve your horse from the stable, click on its name from the main stable menu. This will take you to the managed horse menu. From the manage horse menu click on the “Retrieve” button and the stable boy will bring your horse to you in the stable.

Releasing Your Horse

To release your horse from the stable, click on its name from the main stable menu. This will take you to the managed horse menu. From the manage horse menu click on the “Release” button and “Confirm” button on the confirmation window. This will release your horse from the stable. (This option can not be undone so make sure to think this decision through)
