Former Germany star Dietmar Hamann has claimed Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel could face the axe if the club fails to win the Bundesliga title this season.
Tuchel, 49, following the removal of in March and has struggled in his short spell at the Allianz Arena to date.
He won his first game in charge - against his former club Borussia Dortmund - but Bayern have since lost top spot to Dortmund, as well as crashing out of the Champions League and German Cup.
Bayern were soundly beaten 3-1 at Mainz on Saturday, with Dortmund leapfrogging them at the summit of the Bundesliga following a 4-0 win over Frankfurt.
Reports in Germany have claimed to decide the futures of Tuchel, CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic amid the club's recent troubles.

Hamann, who started as a youth player for Bayern Munich before rising to their first team, said Tuchel had struggled in his tenure so far.
'The leadership may be confused, but the coach also makes a very confused impression in his four weeks so far.

Hamann said the title was now Dortmund's to lose.

Hamann also believes Tuchel has failed to improve performances at Bayern since he took over from Nagelsmann, who was sacked in March.
'I've rarely seen a change of coach where things get worse in the short term.

Bayern Munich chiefs stormed into the dressing room after the costly defeat against Mainz - in a move reminiscent of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.
Tuchel's side capitulated as they conceded three goals in 15 second-half minutes to lose the lead given to them by Sadio Mane's goal.
