Telegrams
Telegrams are a really useful way to communicate over long distances with historical accuracy.
There are telegram stations throughout The Frontier, mainly located in populated towns with a Telegram Office.
Functionality
When a user joins The Frontier, they will be assigned a special Telegram number that can be discovered via a Telegram Office. This number will usually follow the format [AB1234] with two letters at the beginning, followed by four numbers. This telegram number is totally random, and no two are the same. With over 6 million telegram number variations, we'll never run out of space!
Flow to send a Telegram
When you send a Telegram, you can specify the number and write your text with a selection of styles.
- Visit an official Telegram Station in The Frontier.
- Speak with the Telegram Operator.
- Enter the Telegram Number of someone you wish to communicate with.
- Draft your message, choosing a range of fonts.
- Send your Telegram, and the Operator will ask for $0.10.

Flow to retrieve a Telegram
When you retrieve a Telegram, it will be sent to any Telegram Office for you to read or collect. There is no fee to read a telegram.
- Visit an official Telegram Station in The Frontier.
- Speak with the Telegram Operator.
- Open your Retrieved Telegrams via the menu
- Browse the List of retrieved Telegrams. Unread entries will be displayed in Green.

Itemizing Telegrams
A special feature of Ranch Roleplay is the ability to turn your telegrams into a useable item. Simply open up your telegram and "Take", which will add the paper-form telegram into your inventory. There are many ways this can enhance roleplay.

- Using Telegrams as hard evidence against a notorious criminal.
- Selling a rare important telegram sent to you by a high-profile figure.
