Server Rules

Common Courtesy

1. Common Courtesy

Be kind to others and think before you speak on an out-of-county level. There is no need to be hurtful or abusive, regardless of their position in the community, from new players to head admins everyone should be treat equally. Remember to keep in-county actions in-county, there should be no bleed onto the forums or Discord, you are not your character.

"Treat others how you want to be treated."

Roleplay at all times. You are not allowed to break the server rules because you think someone else did. In regards to that, you should not disrupt, stall or void roleplay unless an admin tells you to.

Examples:

  • Quitting the game to avoid an arrest because you were (in your opinion) being arrested for no reason.
  • Repeatedly refusing to roleplay until an admin comes to your aid after you made a report.
  • Quoting rules during roleplay, if a rule break has happened, finish the scene and report accordingly.
  • Filing heat-of-the-moment tickets when the players haven't broken any of the rules.
  • If you are in the middle of an IC situation and another player is speaking to you OOCly in an attempt to disrupt your roleplay or simply contact you, you may ignore them and report them once the situation has concluded.

In Ranch Roleplay (in-game, forums, Teamspeak, Discord or any other forms of communications), admin instructions are final, whether they are stated in the rules or not — they should be accepted and followed at all times.

If you come across a bug on any of our services, you are required to report it. Exploiting bugs is prohibited and will get you permanently banned. It is your obligation to report rule-breakers as well.

Punishments: Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
In-County, speak only ICly and in English. Do not use any informal spiritual language such as "LOL!".

Whilst we're actively roleplaying in 1899 onwards, we ask that you use common sense when speaking in-county, we're an inclusive community & as such any of the following will not be tolerated and as such is a zero-tolerance.

  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Detrimental language to players, such as "retard, tranny, spastic" and so on

If you've got a question related to the server, use the in-game command ((TBA)). If you've got a problem with someone then feel free to request help with a ticket on Discord. Do not message our testers and admins directly.

You are allowed to be AFK (Away From Keyboard) for up to 10 minutes, provided you are not in a highly populated area or an area where people are likely to attempt to roleplay with you. AFK in public at your own risk.

If you believe a staff member is abusing their power then you can file a report using ((TBA))
