The government of Monroe consists of the legislative, judicial and executive branches operating within the state. The government is headquartered in the Vourdalak Mansion, which is currently acting as the capitol. Monroe operates within the bounds of the 1898 Constitution. The current Governor of Monroe is Donovan Ellery.
